According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in July 2017 were approximately US$25.487 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.44% and a month-on-month increase of 4.65%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$9.339 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.33%, and a month-on-month decrease of 3.34%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$16.148 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.62%, and a month-on-month increase of 9.9%.
From January to July 2017, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$149.756 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.43%. Among them, exports of textiles were US$62.489 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.50%; exports of clothing were US$87.267 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.77%.
In 2016/17, as of July 2017, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$139.037 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.35%. Among them, textile exports were US$96.993 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.99%; clothing exports were US$142.044 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.89%.
