Canada implements recall of children’s jackets made in China
On December 24, 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s jackets.
The recalled product is the MiniRodini winter jacket. The product is made of dark green waterproof fabric, has a faux fur collar, a panda patch on the chest, and a drawstring at the waist.
The drawstring of the product may get stuck on playground equipment, fences, cars and other objects, causing children to be entangled or dragged.
The product was sold in Canada from November to December 2021, and about 3 units were sold.
As of December 23, 2021, no accident and casualty reports have been received.
Health Canada advises consumers to remove the drawstring immediately and contact SSENSE for a refund.
