Weft filament fabric design
1. Selection of raw materials: In order to make the weft filament fabric still have the basic properties of polyester-cotton fabric, the warp yarn is made of polyester-cotton blended chemical fiber fabric yarn. The blended chemical fiber fabric with a weft ratio of 65/35 is mainly used to show its style characteristics, so polyester filaments with special-shaped cross-sections (such as triangular, trilobal, five-lobed, etc.) with flash effect should be selected. However, polyester filament has the disadvantages of hard feel and poor drape. Therefore, sometimes you can also choose interfacial cross-section fibers with better hygroscopicity such as nylon filament, nylon 6, and nylon 66.
