Weixian County, Hebei Province: Mainly cash crops, cotton is growing well
Recently, reporters went to cotton fields in Weixian County, Hebei Province and surrounding areas to conduct field research.
The survey results show that it is currently difficult to see large-scale cotton fields in the local area, and the farmland is basically filled with large areas of corn, peanuts and other cash crops. In the several villages I visited, cotton is now a crop in Lingmaofengjiao.
In a cotton field, the reporter found that it is now the cotton flowering and bolling period. The local cotton plant is nearly 100 centimeters tall, with 3-4 fruit branches, and Fuqian peaches have begun to grow.
Cotton, peanuts, and corn all have futures varieties in China. Comparing the 2201 contract, the current trend of cotton futures is stable, while the other two varieties are all at the bottom.
