Five tips for improving website traffic from a very good rookie
I am a novice, very good at it. I downloaded a program from the Internet and put it on the Internet. I just left it there and rarely paid attention to it.
During this period, I experienced that the website was hacked, the virtual host of the IDC service provider was unstable, the website could not be opened for a long time, the website speed was slow, and the traffic was pitiful. Even so, I did not give up my website. I still renewed the domain name and changed the virtual host again and again, which cost several hundred every year. It’s not easy to be a college student. Living expenses are low, but on the day of renewal, I had to spend more than 300, so I lived a very miserable month.
I also thought about using the website to make money, at least to get back the money I spent on domain name hosting. So how to make money? Either provide products or technical services. As I said, I am a rookie, so this method will not work. So the rest is as far as I know, there is no other way than putting ads. I saw many websites placing Alimama advertisements, and I also learned to place a few advertisements.
But my website traffic is pitiful, with more than 40 IP addresses per day, and advertising revenue is only a few cents per day. How I hope that every IP that visits my website will click on my advertisement. I know that’s impossible.
After a few months of experimentation, I came up with some ideas for improving website traffic. Most of them are learned from others, and I share them with everyone here.
1. You must understand that it takes time to build a website
You have to update the content of your website regularly or every day. Only when the content of your website reaches a lot, can search engines include part of your content.
2. Content quality
After you have too much content, you must strive for refinement. The content must be of high quality. Quality includes the popular keywords you screen and original content.
3. Learn to use Baidu
Create a Baidu blog, entry, and encyclopedia related to your website. Post some quality advertising posts to Tieba, answer questions that Baidu knows, and include website links.
4. Make more friendly links
Especially friendly links to public welfare websites. Bring your own signature when posting on the forum.
5. Keywords
If you know many netizens whose website traffic is very high, ask you to take a look at their website statistics to see which keywords their traffic comes from. Then quote articles with keywords with high traffic to your website. Take me for example. I saw in my friend’s website statistics that his Doduo IP came from Solaibao, so I also published articles related to it on Baidu. It was quickly included, and when searching for this keyword on Baidu, my website ranked second.
You may search for something every day. You will use your own habits to search with some keywords, and then put the first linked article that yields the results into your website. For example, I once needed a registration code for a remote video link. I searched on Baidu and got the results I wanted, so I put it on my website. Therefore, for this keyword, I ranked very well on Baidu and brought a lot of traffic. .
The above mentioned simple things are my experience. The main thing is how to determine the keywords. Look at other people’s website statistics to see what keywords most of their traffic comes from. I also chose this keyword and searched for it using Baidu. , get good results and put them on your own website.
I am not a hacker, so I will not use viruses to bring traffic. I will use human resources to post, advertise, learn from keywords, and discover keywords. I hope my experience will be helpful to everyone. Experts laugh at it, but rookies learn from it. The IP address of my website has now increased from 40 to more than 100. Anyway, take your time and earn back the money spent on the website
