Textile and apparel exports increased significantly month-on-month
According to the latest statistics from the General Administration of Customs on January 10, my country’s textile and apparel exports in December 2009 were US$16.787 billion, a month-on-month increase of 20.26% and a year-on-year increase of 4.49%. Among them, the export value of textiles (including textile yarns, fabrics and products) was US$6.216 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.10%; the export value of clothing (including clothing and clothing accessories) was US$10.571 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.75%.
