Egypt’s garment exports increased by 1.0% to US$1.1 billion
According to Egypt’s “Egyptian Gazette” report on August 28: Egypt’s garment exports reached US$799 million in the first seven months of 2017, an increase of 7% over the same period in 2016 (US$744 million). Among them, garment exports to the United States reached US$393 million, an increase of 4% from the same period in 2016 (US$378 million); garment exports to European countries reached US$259 million, higher than the same period in 2016 (US$238 million).
