State Administration of Municipal Supervision: 18 batches of bedding products failed!
Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation reported on the national supervision and spot checks on the quality of 12 online products such as casual clothing in 2021. Among them, 18 batches of bedding samples were unqualified, involving “Montageau Home Textiles”, “Violet Home Textiles”, “MUJI Xinliangpin”, “Maoren Home Textiles”, etc.
This time, 173 batches of bedding products produced by 169 companies in 13 provinces (municipalities) were randomly inspected. Among them, 26 batches were suspected of having no factory name and factory address, and 1 batch was suspected of being counterfeit. They have been handed over to the market supervision department where the company is located for processing.
Among the 146 batches of products inspected, 18 batches were found to be unqualified, with a random inspection failure rate of 12.3%. Unqualified items involve fiber content, pH value, color fastness to wet rubbing, and decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes.
▲The failure rates of bedding products in random inspections in the e-commerce field in the past three years were 1.7%, 12.8%, and 12.3% respectively.

List of unqualified products and companies in the national supervision and spot inspection of the quality of online bedding products in 2021
In response to the problems found in this national supervision and spot inspection of the quality of online products, the State Administration for Market Regulation requires that the market supervision bureaus (departments and commissions) of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps do a good job in handling the results of supervision and spot inspections:
·Urge e-commerce platforms to immediately remove unqualified products from the shelves. Seize and detain unqualified products in accordance with the law, order enterprises selling unqualified products to stop selling the same products, comprehensively clean up and dispose of unqualified products in stock in accordance with the law.
·Order enterprises that produce unqualified products to stop producing and selling the same product, clarify the rectification requirements, urge the implementation of rectification measures, and organize review in a timely manner.
· Those suspected of committing crimes shall be promptly transferred to judicial organs;
·Incorporate serious illegal and untrustworthy enterprises into the list of serious illegal and untrustworthy enterprises in accordance with the law.
·Notify the local government and relevant departments of the unqualified products in this spot inspection, take effective measures to urge enterprises to implement the main responsibilities for product quality and safety in accordance with the law, guide enterprises to organize production in strict accordance with standards, and ensure product quality and safety.
·Strengthen quality and technical assistance. Organize relevant industry organizations and technical institutions to help enterprises find out the causes in depth, propose improvement measures and solutions, and promote the improvement of industry quality levels.
