After the earthquake, local clothing imports grew rapidly
After the earthquake, Japan’s clothing imports increased instead of falling, and maintained a high growth level. According to Japanese customs statistics, from January to May, Japan imported US$12.16 billion in clothing, an increase of 22.5%, and the import volume was 450 million kilograms, an increase of 4.6%.
