In December 2016, Vietnam exported $2.297 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 4.11%, and a month-on-month increase of 21.11%; Vietnam exported 106,800 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 25.22%, and a month-on-month increase of 5.92%.
In December 2016, Vietnam imported 84,100 tons of cotton, an increase of 30.26% year-on-year, and an increase of 9.80% month-on-month; 79,100 tons of yarn, an increase of 10.64% year-on-year, and an increase of 1.10% month-on-month; imported fabrics were US$944 million, an increase of 666% year-on-year; %, a month-on-month decrease of 6.80%.
From January to December 2016, Vietnam exported $23.952 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 3.80%; exported 1.1683 million tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 20.99%.
From January to December 2016, Vietnam imported 1.0342 million tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 1.59%; imported yarn 862,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.65%; and imported fabrics of US$10.483 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.80%.
