According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in February 2017 were approximately US$10.977 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 29.9% and a month-on-month decrease of 54.08%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$4.587 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 24.6%, and a month-on-month decrease of 52.14%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$6.39 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 33.26%, and a month-on-month decrease of 55.38%.
In 2016/17, as of February 2017, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$124.162 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.86%. Among them, textile exports were US$48.675 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.03%; clothing exports were US$75.487 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 12.59%.
