China’s home textile exports to the US and European markets still maintained growth in the first four months
In the first four months, China’s home textile exports to the US and European markets still maintained growth, but the growth rate declined month by month. Exports to the United States were US$3.3 billion, an increase of 3.3%, and exports to the EU were US$1.34 billion, an increase of 6.9%.
From January to April, among the top five exporting provinces and cities, Zhejiang, Shandong and Guangdong maintained growth, with increases of 3.2%, 8.2%, and 10.9% respectively; exports of Jiangsu and Shanghai declined, with decreases of 6.4% and 17.8% respectively.
