Recently, at the invitation of the Science and Technology Bureau of Dazhu County, Chen Yian, a scientific and technological personnel from the “Three Districts” of Dazhu County, an associate researcher at the Sericulture Institute of the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the editor-in-chief of the “Sichuan Sericulture” magazine, joined the National Sericulture Industry Technology System Sericulture Researcher Zhang Jianfei, a mechanical scientist, and a group of four people went to Dazhu County to conduct on-site training on sericulture production technology.
The expert group first came to Jixingzhai Village, Gaoxue Town to provide technical guidance on mulberry winter management. Sericulture experts held mulberry garden winter tube tools to conduct on-site demonstrations of mulberry tree pruning and shaping. They used rich practical experience and easy-to-understand language to explain and demonstrate to sericulture farmers, and went to the homes of large sericulture households to guide the site selection and construction of small silkworm co-breeding rooms. , silkworm platform layout and other technical points have been well received by silkworm farmers.
Then the expert group came to the “Dazhu County Mulberry Breeding Base” to provide technical guidance on mulberry garden layout, mulberry garden fertilizer management and other aspects in the high-quality and efficient sericulture production process, and discussed the structural adjustment, modernization and development of Dazhu County’s sericulture industry and Dazhu The County Science and Technology Bureau conducted in-depth exchanges, clarifying ideas and pointing out the direction for the development of the sericulture industry in Dazhu County.
Chen Yi’an said: “As one of the 40 sericulture base counties in Sichuan Province, Dazhu County’s soil and climate are suitable for the growth of a variety of crops, and it has good ecological conditions suitable for mulberry and silkworms. The sericulture industry has broad development prospects.”
