Indian cotton yarn prices stabilize

In the past week, Indian cotton yarn prices have further stabilized due to firm raw material prices and falling mill profits.

The price of 30-count combed yarn in India fell by 13.2% within 3 months, polyester-cotton yarn fell by 15.4%, and polyester-viscose yarn fell by 3.7%.

Indian cotton prices remained stable, with S-6 rising 0.5% in a single week. CCI has begun to purchase cotton in the market, and the price is higher than MSP, but cotton farmers are still willing to sell to private traders. The US Department of Agriculture expects Indian cotton to grow by 11% and cotton consumption to grow by 1%.
