Canada implements recall of Chinese-made girls’ jackets
On December 21, 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made girls’ jackets.
The recalled products are girls’ jackets. The product has a drawstring at the waist and is available in multiple sizes and 3 colors. The style number (65267-65815) and production date number (1019(A)) are printed on the inner label.
The drawstring of the product may get stuck on playground equipment, fences, cars and other objects, causing children to be entangled or dragged. The product was sold in Canada from February to December 2021, with approximately 630 units sold.
As of December 13, 2021, there are no reports of accidents or casualties.
Health Canada advises consumers to stop removing drawstrings immediately.
