According to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro, the price of 30-count combed cotton yarn is 280-285 rupees per kilogram (excluding GST), 40-count combed cotton yarn is 305-310 rupees per kilogram, 30-count carded cotton yarn is 255-260 rupees per kilogram, 40 Carded cotton yarn is 280-285 rupees per kilogram.

On the first day of the new year, demand in Ludhiana was very low. The price of local cotton yarn has been reduced by Rs 2 per kilogram. A trader in Ludhiana said the market will determine its direction in the next 3-4 days. Domestic demand is unlikely to improve, but high export demand could provide much-needed support to cotton yarn. 30-count combed cotton yarn is priced at Rs 278-288 per kg (including GST), 20-count combed cotton yarn is priced at Rs 268-278 per kg, 25-count combed cotton yarn is priced at Rs 273-283 per kg, and 30-count carded cotton yarn is priced at Rs 253 per kg. -Rs 263.
