Recently, the Hebei Regional Monitoring Station of the National Cotton Market Monitoring System conducted a survey on cotton growth conditions in various regions. The specific situation is as follows:
Tangshan: In early August, rainfall occurred in the Tangshan area of Hebei Province, which had a positive impact on the cotton fields that were previously dry. Local cotton farmers said that the current cotton growth is good, with mild pests and diseases. The cotton plant height is 100-110 centimeters, with an average of about 9 bolls per plant. The overall growth is better than the same period last year. If there are no adverse weather effects in the later period, the yield is expected to be 250-260 kg/mu.
So far, the local cotton plant height is about 110 centimeters, there are about 10 fruit branches per plant, and there are about 12 peaches per plant. The growth is better than the same period last year. Local cotton farmers said that if there is no adverse weather impact in the later period, the output is expected to be higher than the 230 kg/mu in the same period last year.
