Recently, the 2021 China Healthy Textile Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Xiao. Participants discussed cutting-edge hot topics in the field of healthy textiles, sought common development, and drew a blueprint together. District leader Ni Shiying attended the meeting.

The chemical fiber textile industry is Xiaoshan’s traditional dominant industry. In 2020, the total output value of chemical fiber textiles in the region reached 85 billion yuan. The actual chemical fiber production capacity in the region exceeded 5 million tons, accounting for approximately 8.5% of the country’s total chemical fiber production. The equity production capacity exceeded 15 million tons, accounting for about 30% of the country’s total chemical fiber output. At present, Xiaoshan District has a number of industry leading enterprises such as Hengyi, Rongsheng, and Xinghui Chemical Fiber, which are among the top 500 private enterprises in China.
In recent years, Xiaoshan District has unswervingly implemented the strategy of “Strong Innovation District”, anchored the goal of fibernew materials world-class advanced manufacturing cluster, and fully supported capable, Enterprises with ideas and conditions will enter the field of healthy textiles.
