The function and performance of non-woven fusible interlining. Non-woven fusible interlining, also known as non-woven interlining and interlining paper, is made of non-woven fabric as the base fabric and processed by adhesive coating. Fusible linings have long been made directly from nonwoven fabrics. Currently, most have been replaced by bonded nonwovens. But it is still used in casual clothing, knitted clothing, raincoats and children’s clothing, etc. Usually made by adhesive method, there are three types: thin, medium and thick.
Introduction to the functions and performance of non-woven adhesive lining:
1. Fully non-woven adhesive lining is mainly used for front-end coating . It has high adhesion, good washing resistance, and good adhesion to fabrics, which can improve sewing efficiency. In addition, it works well as a lining for knitted garments.
2. Partially bond the non-woven lining pieces into strips. This kind of interlining is widely used as reinforcing interlining for the hem of clothing, as a lining for small parts such as seams, pockets, cuffs, etc. It is also used for larger parts such as collars and plackets; it has the function of preventing elongation and adjustment. Fabric organization, enhancing the stiffness of clothing, etc., so that clothing can obtain good shape retention and a smooth and beautiful appearance.
