The test conditions are: test voltage 400V, arc flash time 500ms, upper electrode made of aluminum, lower electrode made of copper, electrode space is 30mm, and the distance between the test sample and the electrode is 300mm.
European standards mainly have the following requirements: clothing must be designed with long sleeves to protect the entire upper body and torso; buttons or zipper accessories of clothing must react in an arc flash fire It can still function normally after the arc flash reaction; the sewing thread, accessories, buttons or zipper accessories of the garment will not cause further human injury after the arc flash reaction; metal accessories, buttons or zippers must be covered by fabric, and non-metallic accessories, buttons or zippers can exposed to the surface.
