Tang Yunqiang, chairman of Guangxi Shifang Investment Group Co., Ltd., has been engaged in the textile industry in Guangdong Province for nearly 30 years. When he heard that his hometown was going to develop the textile and garment industry, he immediately contacted his colleagues and received “group support.” In October 2019, he returned to Pingnan to start the construction of the Guangxi Shifang Investment Group Textile Printing and Dyeing Industrial Park. The project has a total investment of 12 billion yuan and is planned to be completed within 5 years. The total planned daily printing and dyeing cloth is 2,480 tons and the daily sewage treatment is 200,000 tons. The first phase of the industrial park will be completed by the end of July this year. Nine printing and dyeing companies will be officially put into operation, with a daily capacity of processing 100,000 tons of sewage and 1,250 tons of daily printing and dyeing cloth. At present, the park has signed contracts with more than 30 companies, 90% of which are printing and dyeing companies in Guangdong.
Tang Yunqiang said that the resource allocation of modern industrial parks is the only way for enterprises to enhance their competitive advantages and move towards the future. Pingnan has many advantages such as unique location advantages, abundant human resources, and strong policy support from governments at all levels. In terms of business environment, since 2019, Pingnan County’s business environment assessment results have ranked among the top in the entire autonomous region.
