The 2021 China Textile Dyeing and Finishing Professional Academic Exchange Annual Conference was held in Keqiao

Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China Textile Engineering Federation/Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society, Chen Wenxing, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering/President of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Chen Zhihua, President of the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, Zhou Zhigang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Keqiao District Committee of Shaoxing City, China Textile Engineering Society Chairman Fu Guangwei, Chairman of Zhejiang Textile Engineering Society Zhou Wenlong and other leaders and more than 200 expert representatives from the textile printing and dyeing industry attended the meeting.
Li Lingshen said in his speech that textile is China’s dominant industry. The important status of textile is reflected in the list of winners of the July 1st Medal and heavyweight national awards. However, China’s textile industry must catch up with developed countries in Europe and the United States. There are still certain gaps between countries. Li Lingshen emphasized that China’s textile industry should increase research and development efforts in terms of structural optimization and scientific and technological investment, continuously strengthen the number of GDP patents, increase the number and proportion of invention patents, achieve the last mile sprint, and promote textile high-end through the printing and dyeing industryQualitydevelopment.
In his speech, Zhou Zhigang introduced the development of the printing and dyeing industry in Keqiao, Shaoxing. Keqiao District’s GDP in 2020 reached 151.6 billion, and its comprehensive strength ranked 11th among the top 100 districts in the country. Textile printing and dyeing, as Keqiao’s traditional industry, accounted for 1/3 of last year’s transaction volume. Since 2010, Keqiao District has completed industrial downsizing through three reforms, gathering the printing and dyeing industry into one industrial zone, and promoting the high-quality development of traditional textile printing and dyeing. However, at the same time, the market competition pressure in the printing and dyeing industry is increasing. Environmental protection issues and technical shortcomings are becoming increasingly prominent and urgently need breakthroughs. This annual meeting invites many experts, which is a rare opportunity to promote the development of Keqiao printing and dyeing. It is an important opportunity to actively discuss exchanges, promote in-depth cooperation, and work together to develop textile printing and dyeing.
Academician Chen Wenxing took “The Development Status and Prospects of the Textile Printing and Dyeing Industry in Zhejiang Province” as the theme and gave a report from three aspects: the development status, development approaches and digital transformation of the textile printing and dyeing industry in Zhejiang Province. In conjunction with the 14th Five-Year Plan development strategy of Zhejiang’s textile printing and dyeing industry, he implemented the “carbon Peak, carbon neutral” sustainable development, the digital transformation of Zhejiang’s textile industry and related examples were shared, and emphasized that the textile industry’s transformation and upgrading still faces huge challenges, and the industrial chain Collaborative innovation should be strengthened between upstream and downstream enterprises, between internal and external members of the industry, and between universities and enterprises to achieve greater results in transformation, improvement and innovative development, and strive to build Zhejiang Province into a world-leading high-end textile R&D and production base.
In the theme report session, a total of 10 experts made academic exchanges and reports on the topic of textile dyeing and finishing. The report was hosted by Qi Dongming, Executive Vice President of the Research Institute, and Xu Weiqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Textile Science and Engineering (International Silk Institute) of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University .
After the meeting, the participants also visited the Shaoxing Keqiao Research Institute of Zhejiang Science and Technology University. Dean Qi Dongming introduced that the characteristic subject areas of Zhejiang Science and Technology University are highly matched with Keqiao’s industry, with large space for cooperation and broad development potential. The establishment of the institute is “a pioneer in the construction of Jianhu Laboratory and a creation-oriented “A new highland for corporate services” as the goal, thereby realizing the aggregation of superior resources in textile science and technology, promoting the quality improvement of Keqiao’s textile industry and the introduction and training of high-end talents, breaking through a number of The key “stuck neck” technology in the textile industry can solve the most practical problems that enterprises are most concerned about and empower the transformation and upgrading of the industry.
