Many people think that flame-retardant fabrics and high-temperature-resistant fabrics are non-burning fabrics. In fact, this is not the case. Flame-retardant fabrics can burn when encountering flames, but they can stop burning immediately after the flames leave. Here are some differences between flame retardant fabrics and high temperature resistant fabrics.
1. High-temperature-resistant fabric does not burn or age at ultra-high temperatures of 360 degrees Celsius; flame-retardant fabrics can burn under high-temperature flames.
2. Flame-retardant fabrics can extinguish themselves after the fire source leaves; high-temperature-resistant fabrics will not extinguish themselves after the fire source leaves the flame.
3. Flame-retardant fabrics are made of cotton, polyester and other raw materials; high-temperature resistant fabrics use high-quality imported glass fiber as woven material.
4. High-temperature-resistant cloth can resist corrosion from almost all chemical products and does not age or deform under strong acid and alkali conditions; flame-retardant cloth does not have such a function.
The above lists the differences between flame-retardant fabrics and high-temperature-resistant fabrics. When purchasing flame-retardant fabrics and other related products, consumers must look for their functions to prevent the purchased products from not having the desired functions.
