Solution to printing color drag (cross-color)
Solution to printing color drag (cross-color)
1. The arrangement of screen color registration plates is generally to print dark colors first and then light colors. The dark color printed first will get more paste in the pattern of the printed fabric. When the screen of the next pattern is lowered and scraped for printing, the color paste will be squeezed and dragged to the subsequent colors, or the color paste scraper blade of the former will be too large. Improper soft angle, uneven scraper pressure or uneven bending, partial slurry collection is not clean, and there is a lot of floating slurry. In the latter, the color paste scraper blade is hard, and it is easy to overlap each other and cause color drag.
2. When making a black and white draft, the relationship between the colors was not properly handled, and the number of overlapping screens was not reasonably overlapped according to the characteristics of the pattern.
2. Prevention methods:
1. The viscosity of the color paste should not be too thin, but should be moderate; the pressure adjustment of the color paste scraper should be reasonable, so that the printed fabric can obtain enough color paste without causing floating slurry to appear.
2. The tension of each color screen should be even.
3. According to the characteristics of the pattern and the size of the pattern, the blade of the rubber paste scraper should be made to meet the needs of the printed pattern. In addition, the rubber paste scraper should be straight and complete, without any bends or unevenness, to ensure that the force on the blade edge is uniform when the screen scraper is being scraped.
4. Don’t start the screen printing (when framing) too fast to reduce the rebounding force of the screen printing.
5. For patterns with a lot of overlapping colors, starting from the black and white draft, you should consider minimizing the layers of overprinting and controlling the amount of pulp suction per unit area without affecting the overall effect of the pattern.
6. The pulp collected after scraping printing should be clean, the number of scraping printing should be appropriate, and the scraper pressure should be moderate.
7. The order of printing before and after the pattern can be changed without affecting the printing effect.
8. You can consider leaving 1-2 spaces between the flower return screen behind the dark color paste screen. ttuSZJ
