Bangladesh’s garment manufacturing industry calls on government to change tax plan
The Bangladesh garment manufacturing industry issued an appeal to the government yesterday, requesting that the export tariff be reduced from 1.5% to 0.25% in the new tax plan. Otherwise, it will greatly increase production costs and reduce the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s garment exports.
