Fujian’s textile exports increased by .% month-on-month
The reporter learned from Xiamen Customs on the 28th that Fujian Province exported US$1.75 billion in textiles in May this year, a year-on-year increase of 24% and a month-on-month increase of 29.8%. Among them, private enterprises exported US$1.22 billion, a year-on-year increase of 38.3%, accounting for 69.7% of the province’s total textile exports.
Statistics show that Fujian textiles were mainly exported to ASEAN, the EU and the United States in May. Among them, exports to ASEAN were US$353 million, a year-on-year increase of 49.5%, accounting for 20.2% of the total; exports to the EU were US$347 million, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%, accounting for 19.8% of the total; Exports to the United States were US$160 million, an increase of 47.6%, accounting for 9.1% of the total.
According to statistics, from January to May this year, Fujian Province exported a total of US$6.88 billion in textiles, a year-on-year increase of 19.1%.
