According to Shijiazhuang Customs statistics, Hebei Province exported 28.56 billion yuan of textiles and clothing from January to October 2016, an increase of 0.6% over the same period last year (the same below). Exports in October were 3.94 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, and a month-on-month increase of 13.1%. .
Hebei Province ranks first in exports to Russia, and exports to the European Union, ASEAN, Japan, and South Korea are growing rapidly. Among them, exports to Russia were 10.17 billion yuan, accounting for 35.6% of the total export value; exports to the EU were 4.51 billion yuan, an increase of 6%; exports to the United States were 3.33 billion yuan, a decrease of 3.8%; exports to ASEAN were 1.88 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4%; Japan’s exports were 1.08 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5%; exports to South Korea were 660 million yuan, an increase of 17.4%.
According to analysis, textiles and clothing have always been Hebei Province’s traditional pillar industry and key export commodity. After winter, fur clothing exports grew rapidly, thus driving the rapid growth of textile clothing in October. In the first ten months, Hebei’s textile and clothing exports were 28.56 billion yuan
