According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in December 2016 were approximately US$23.433 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 13.05% and a month-on-month increase of 8.37%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$9.156 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.67%, and a month-on-month increase of 1.4%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$14.277 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 16.7%, and a month-on-month increase of 13.37%.
In 2016, my country’s total exports of textiles and apparel amounted to US$267.618 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.76%. Among them, textile exports were US$106.318 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.97%; clothing exports were US$161.3 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.52%.
