Jordanian garment factory closed due to workers’ rights violations
According to a report by the “Jordan Times” on February 26, the Jordanian Ministry of Labor ordered the closure of a garment factory in Irbid last Thursday due to the company’s violation of workers’ rights. The foreign worker support organization accused the garment factory of involving human trafficking and violating the basic rights of more than 100 Bangladeshi and Indian workers.
