As the prices of polyester and viscose staple fiber fell, the price of polyester and viscose yarn fell at the same time last week, while blended yarn remained unchanged.
The current decline in commodity prices has not affected Pakistan’s cotton prices, mainly because Pakistan’s domestic cotton supply is tight and new flowers have not been launched until July.
