India’s exports slump, floral yarn prices fall
During the week of May 18-24, India’s domestic cotton yarn prices remained unchanged, cotton yarn export prices continued to fall, and cotton prices fluctuated little. Although the international cotton price fluctuated greatly last week, the domestic cotton price in India only dropped slightly, but it is still at a high level. As the price of polyester staple fiber continued to fall, the export price of Indian cotton fell slightly. Affected by the rotation of China’s cotton reserves, China’s current demand for Indian cotton is sluggish.
According to statistics, India’s C30SFOB export price last week was US$3.10/kg, down 5 cents from last week; T/C30SFOB export price was US$2.75/kg, down 5 cents from last week.
