According to statistics, domestic cotton yarn prices in India fell by 2 rupees/kg last week, and have plummeted by 13 rupees/kg in the past month, a decrease of 6.2%. Last week, the price of JC30SFOB in India fell by 2 cents to US$2.93/kg, and the price of 30S blended yarn increased by 5 cents to US$2.55/kg. The price of JC32S exported to China has dropped by 6 cents in the past four weeks.
It is understood that with the sharp decline in domestic cotton prices in India, the production profits of Indian textile companies have increased. According to statistics, the price of S-6 cotton in India last week fell by more than 8% in the past four weeks, falling to the lowest level since December last year.
