In order to enhance the awareness of integrity and standard management of home textile e-commerce enterprises and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, on March 12, Jiangsu Nantong International Home Textile Industrial Park joined forces with Nantong City The E-Commerce Chamber of Commerce and the Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau jointly organized the “3·15” home textile e-commerce quality improvement themed publicity event. More than 40 home textile e-commerce company leaders and Quality management personnel participated in the event.
At the meeting, Cao Yan, director of the Market and Format Department of Nantong International Home Textile Park, said that new e-commerce, as a new track for home textile sales, has brought opportunities for industry transformation and upgrading , the park will increase efforts to cultivate new business formats and continue to create a service ecology for e-commerce live streaming. At the same time, it requires live streaming e-commerce companies to strictly self-discipline, abide by laws and regulations, and consciously maintain the collective image of Nantong Home Textiles.
Li Cheng, a public lawyer, gave an in-depth and simple explanation of relevant laws and regulations based on the title of “Legal Analysis of Common Illegal Activities of Home Textile E-commerce Enterprises” and combined with typical cases such as false propaganda of a home textile factory and production and sales of duck down as goose down. The case analysis achieved good results.
Shen Luping, director of the Chuanjiang Branch of the Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau, interpreted the group standards of the “Home Textiles Network Operation and Management Standards” item by item, requiring participating companies to effectively regulate the online sales of home textile products and eliminate existing “false propaganda.” Irregular business behaviors such as “false prices”, “incorrect goods” and “arbitrary OEM” are jointly building a regional brand of Nantong home textiles.
It is understood that Nantong home textiles will account for more than 60% of national home textile e-commerce sales in 2022, of which e-commerce complaint cases will account for more than 90% of the home textile industry. In the next stage, the home textile park will continue to unite the market supervision department, the Municipal E-commerce Chamber of Commerce and other parties to urge sellers to implement their main responsibilities, guide the establishment of the concept of “quality first”, comprehensively strengthen the protection of consumer rights and interests, and create a safer and more secure environment. With the consumption environment, the “Home Textile Network Operation and Management Standards” group standard will continue to protect Nantong home textile e-commerce consumers.
