The European Commission pointed out in the announcement that the Commission has sufficient evidence to prove that the products involved in the case originating in China and Egypt were re-exported through Turkey (whether or not they were marked as originating in Turkey) to circumvent the current anti-dumping measures against glass fiber fabrics from China and Egypt. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes of the products involved are ex70193900, ex70194000, ex70195900 and ex70199000 (TARIC codes are 7019390083, 7019400083, 7019590083 and 7019900083).
On February 21, 2019, the European Commission issued an announcement stating that Tech-FabEurope should represent manufacturers whose glass fiber fabric production accounts for 25% of similar products in the EU. According to an application filed on January 8, 2019, the European Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation into fiberglass fabrics originating in China and Egypt. On April 6, 2020, the European Commission issued an announcement stating that it had made a final anti-dumping ruling on fiberglass fabrics originating in China and Egypt.
