In order to implement the “Guiding Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting High-Quality Development of Trade” and the “Implementation Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting Innovative Development of Foreign Trade” 》spirit, the Ministry of Commerce has newly identified 105 national foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases, including 4 bases in the textile and apparel industry, and 2 bases involved in the textile and apparel field.
Up to now, there are 578 national foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases across the country, covering eight major industries: mechanical and electrical products (including equipment manufacturing), agricultural products, light industrial handicrafts, textiles and clothing, medicine, new materials, specialized chemicals, and hardware and building materials. Among them, textiles There are 71 garment industry bases. As an important platform for the organic integration of industry and trade, the foreign trade transformation and upgrading base has become an important carrier and starting point for promoting the high-quality development of trade, and has played an active role in promoting the innovative development of local foreign trade, optimizing and stabilizing the industrial chain and supply chain.
