Announcement of the results of Beijing’s infant and children’s clothing and shoes quality supervision and spot inspection
The Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation has recently carried out quality supervision and spot checks on textile clothing (infant and children’s clothing) and children’s shoes produced and sold in this city in accordance with the law. The requirements for accessories of infant and children’s clothing products, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, pH value, formaldehyde, down filling, fiber content, etc. do not meet the standard requirements.
Children’s shoe products do not meet standard requirements in terms of strap pull-out strength, outsole wear resistance, removable small accessories, phthalates, total heavy metal content, formaldehyde, etc.
The Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation has dealt with the producers and sellers of substandard products found in random inspections in accordance with the law. The Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation reminds consumers to pay attention to the label content on the product when purchasing and using children’s clothing and shoes to understand the product’s condition and maintenance requirements; do not purchase products with hidden dangers such as ropes, small parts and sharp points to avoid Danger occurs; after purchasing, you should try to wash it according to the washing and maintenance requirements before wearing it.
