Textile and clothing exports
In May 2011, my country’s exports of textile yarns and fabrics were US$8.619 billion, and exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$11.719 billion, an increase of -1.7% and 5.5% respectively compared with April. Clothing exports were US$11.72 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, and a month-on-month increase of 5.5%.
From January to May, the cumulative exports of textiles and clothing were US$88.84 billion, an increase of 26.6%, of which textile exports were US$37.55 billion, an increase of 31.5%, and clothing exports were US$51.29 billion, an increase of 23.1%.
