Latvia’s textile and clothing production increased by % year-on-year in the first half
According to the Polish News Agency, in the first half of 2011, Latvian textile and clothing production increased by 30% year-on-year. 95% of Latvian textiles are exported, and exports to Estonia and Russia each account for 1/5 of Latvia’s total textile exports. The Latvian Textile Association estimates that the textile output value in 2011 will be 260 million lats (370 million euros), a year-on-year increase of 12-15%.
