Turkmenistan enters cotton harvest season
According to a report by the Azerbaijan Trend News Agency on August 30, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Turkmenistan announced that Ahal, Lebap, and Mare regions will enter the cotton harvest period from now on, and Dashoguz region will enter the cotton harvest period from September. Cotton harvest will begin on the 6th. This year Turkmenistan plans to produce 1.05 million tons of cotton. Cotton and its products will be supplied to 38 cotton gins, cotton spinning mills, textile mills and oil refineries across the country.
