From September 7th to 13th, with the increase in cotton and polyester prices and the recovery of domestic and international market demand, the price of Pakistani cotton yarn rebounded sharply. It is understood that after the Eid holiday, Pakistan’s domestic demand rebounded to support Faisalbad yarn market prices. Among them, JC30S, 40S, and 60S sales were strong, and Faisalbad yarn prices increased by 4% from last week.
After eight weeks of stable prices, polyester-viscose yarn (PV) prices increased by 1 rupee/lb last week, while polyester-cotton yarn (PC) and 100% polyester yarn prices remained unchanged.
According to statistics, with the increase in the prices of PTA and MEG in the international market, the price of polyester staple fiber in Pakistan has soared. Among them, the price of 1.4D polyester staple fiber increased by 2 rupees/kg, an increase of 1.55% last week; the price of imports from China Remain unchanged at USD 1.16/kg (CNF Karachi). The price of viscose staple fiber began to rise last week, with the import price from China reaching a high level of US$2.15/kg.
