Pakistan suspends Afghan cotton imports
According to Afghanistan’s “Daily Outlook” report, a spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Commerce and Industry stated on January 27 that the import of Afghan cotton has been suspended in the past 20 days due to Pakistan’s implementation of new regulations on the import of Afghan cotton. The spokesman promised that the Afghan Ministry of Commerce and Industry would resolve the issue soon.
