India makes negative final anti-dumping ruling on Chinese acrylic fiber
On April 16, 2018, the Anti-dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that it had decided to make a negative final anti-dumping ruling on Acrylic Fibre originating in or imported from China, Belarus, Ukraine, the European Union, and Peru. It was ruled that the products involved originated in or were imported from the above-mentioned countries during the investigation period and did not cause substantial damage to domestic enterprises in India. Therefore, the investigation was ended and anti-dumping measures were not recommended. The Indian customs codes of the products involved are 550130, 550330, and 550630.
