According to customs statistics, in March 2018, my country imported 32.9763 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year increase of 22.12%, and a month-on-month increase of 87.47%; the country exported approximately 561 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 32.5%, and a month-on-month decrease of 9.1%.
As of March, my country’s cumulative imports of cotton cloth in 2017/18 were approximately 220 million meters, an increase of 19 million meters compared with the same period last year; the cumulative exports of cotton cloth were approximately 5.04 billion meters, an increase of 280 million meters compared with the same period last year.
