Canada implements recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
On April 18, 2018, Health Canada announced a recall of toddler pajamas made by Guangdong Textiles Imp. in China.
This recall involves two “R” brand children’s pajamas, one printed with a bear and the other with a fish printed on it. The robe is 100% cotton. The manufacturing number for the bear style is 1617347 and the manufacturing number for the fish style is AD12003. The manufacturing number can be found on the label on the inside of the robe.
This product does not meet Canadian flammability requirements for children’s pajamas.
The recalled products were sold in Canada from January 2015 to December 2017, with approximately 6,840 units sold.
As of April 10, 2018, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and return the product to Toys”R”Us or Babies”R”Us for a refund. (Title: Canada implements recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas)
