Health Canada implements voluntary recall of baby bathrobes made in China
On May 26, 2011, Health Canada and Kids Line LLC jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made Katie Little baby bathrobes.
The recalled baby bathrobes are white, with collars, cuffs and belts in other colors. They are 100% cotton and are suitable for babies aged 0-9 months. “Katie Little for KIDSLINE” is marked on the label at the collar. This yukata was sold in Canada from October 2007 to May 2011.
The number of products recalled this time is about 1,200. The reason for the recall is that the bathrobe does not meet Canadian standards for flame retardancy for children’s clothing. To date, neither Health Canada nor Kids Line LLC has received any reports of incidents.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers immediately keep the recalled bathrobes away from babies and contact the retail store for a return and full refund.
