In the first half, Vietnam imported nearly 100 million US dollars in textiles and clothing
According to Vietnam’s “Investment News” on July 6, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that Vietnam imported nearly US$6.4 billion in textile and clothing raw and auxiliary materials in the first six months. Among them, the imported cotton was US$642 million; the imported yarn was US$794 million, a year-on-year increase of 40%; the import of other raw and auxiliary materials (including shoemaking raw materials) was US$1.503 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20%; the imported fabric was US$4.325 billion, an increase of 38%.
