In January 2017, Vietnam exported US$2.157 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 7.73%, and a month-on-month decrease of 6.12%; Vietnam exported 78,900 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 1.79%, and a month-on-month decrease of 26.11%.
In January 2017, Vietnam imported 54,100 tons of yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 19.50%, and a month-on-month decrease of 31.63%; imported cotton was 94,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.82%, and a month-on-month increase of 12.38%; imported fabrics were US$662 million, a year-on-year decrease of 13.46% %, a month-on-month decrease of 29.88%.
